Why Custom Trip Planning Benefits Your Next Adventure

Planning a trip sounds fun until you're three hours deep into Google, you've saved 47 restaurants on Instagram, ChatGPT has given you a list of 30 things to do, and you still have absolutely no idea how to put it all together.

I've spent years living abroad, traveling, and putting trips together for other people. I can tell you that finding things to do is usually the easy part. Figuring out which ones are actually worth your time, where to stay, how to get around, and how to fit everything together without turning your holiday into a military operation? That's where things get interesting.

This is where custom trip planning comes in.

A List of Recommendations Isn't a Travel Plan

Let's say you're planning a week in Paris. You ask ChatGPT for recommendations, and it delivers a perfectly respectable list of museums, restaurants, neighborhoods, and day trips.

Great. Now what?

Which museums are worth booking in advance? Should you spend an afternoon in Montmartre or squeeze it in between two other sights? Is that restaurant actually in a convenient location, or will you spend 45 minutes crossing the city to get there? And do you even want to visit three museums in one day?

These are the details that make or break an itinerary.

A good travel planner takes the time to understand how you like to travel, what you're interested in, and what you can realistically fit into your vacation. The result is a trip that makes sense for you, rather than a generic list of popular attractions.

Save Time, Make Better Choices

You can spend evenings comparing hotels, reading reviews, checking train schedules, and trying to work out whether that restaurant is anywhere near the sights you want to visit. Or you can get help from someone who does this kind of research regularly.

As a travel advisor, I can also help you access eligible hotel perks, such as breakfast, property credits, and room upgrades when available. Benefits depend on the property and booking, but they're worth exploring before you reserve.

Let's Plan Something Good

You don't need to arrive with a perfectly formed itinerary. Maybe you've chosen a destination or maybe you just know you want a week somewhere warm in February.

Either way, bring me your ideas, your budget, and your wish list. I'll help you sort through the options and turn them into a trip that makes sense for you.

Let’s get planning!
